AUTHOR GUIDELINES OF

JURNAL PENGABDIAN KEPADA MASYARAKAT UAP ( ABDI KE UAP)

 

MANUSCRIPT GENERAL GUIDELINES

  

  1. The authors must follow the given template which can be download in Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat UAP ( ABDI KE UAP)  . download here.
  2. The manuscript must not contain any plagiarism element.
  3. The manuscript is in Indonesian or English and at least 10 pages length.
  4. It is typed using A4 size paper (210 mm x 297 mm) in two columns from the second page with upper, lower, right and left margins are 2.5 cm wide.
  5. In the middle of the first page contains the title of the manusscript in capitals and 12pt size.
  6. Under the title lies two abstracts content (in English and Indonesian) and the keywords from each abstract.
  7. The manuscript is typed using one space size, and Times New Roman font.
  8. The submitted manuscript should be in Microsoft Word document, not in PDF or other form.

 

MANUSCRIPT BODY TEXT GUIDELINES

 

A. ABSTRACT

 Abstract is a synopsis of the work containing the problems studied, the purpose of research, information and methods used to solve problems, and conclusions. Abstracts are limited to 200 words and should not contain references, equations, figures, and tables. It only has ONE PARAGRAPH without any tab. The font size for abstracts and keywords is 11pt. Keywords are separated by comma (,). It contains no more than six (6) words, but the minimum is three (3) words.

 

 

B. INTRODUCTION

 In Introduction Chapter, Authors should state the objectives of the work at the end of introduction section. Before the objective, Authors should provide an adequate background, and very short literature survey in order to record the existing solutions or method, to show which is the best of previous researches, to show the main limitation of the previous researches, to show what do you hope to achieve (to solve the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the manuscript.

Please also add at the end of the introduction, a statement that this manuscript is the original result of your research or the development of previous research using your own ideas. Manuscripts that you submit, will be examined partially or completely with plagiarism checker software.

 

C. LITERATURE STUDY

 This chapter consist of theoretical background and specific terminologies of your research. It can help the readers from several backgrounds can understand the manuscript content easier. The citations in Literature Study are written for example: “… are used as research objects [1]”. The quotations are mentioned in References chapter and organized in the order in which you mention them in your manuscript.

 

D. METHODS

 The methods described in this section are scientific and should make the reader repeat the experiment you are doing. Provide sufficient detail for the results of the study to be reproduced. The published method should be indicated with the appropriate reference in the References section. If there are relevant modifications, they should also be explained.

 

E. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

 The research results of the study should be explained clearly and concisely. The result should summarize the findings (scientific) rather than providing the data in great detail. Please explain the difference between your results or your findings and previous publications by other researchers. The discussion should explore the significance of your work. Give quotes from previous studies that can support the results of your research.

 

 F. CONCLUSION

 

 The closing section is in paragraph form and should answer the purpose of the study, telling how your work can advance the current knowledge. Without a clear conclusion, reviewers and readers will find it difficult to assess the work, and whether it needs to be published in a journal or not. Do not repeat the results that have been displayed in the abstract, or only the experimental results. Provide clear scientific justification of your work and show possible apps and extensions. You should also suggest future research and/or ongoing research.

 

G. REFERENCES

 Citation to other writing sources mentioned by author in the manuscript should be adjusted to the References chapter sorted by the occurrence of the quotation, not by alphabet. To make things easier, we recommend using MENDELEY software facility as references manager or using the REFERENCES Menu and the BIBLIOGRAPHY submenu available in Microsoft Word.
