Abstract

Gestational hypertension is an increase in blood pressure ≥140 mmHg after 20 weeks of gestation and is a cause of complications in the mother and fetus, such as kidney disorders, thrombocytopenia, low birth weight (LBW), and perinatal death. This activity aims to increase the knowledge of pregnant women regarding hypertension prevention through non-pharmacological approaches, namely nutritional fulfillment, stress management, and music therapy. The methods used include material preparation, blood pressure checks, interactive counseling, and pre-post test evaluation. The program was implemented on November 13, 2025, at the Kedaton Community Health Center with 10 pregnant women participating. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding after the counseling. In conclusion, this education is effective in increasing pregnant women's awareness about hypertension prevention, so similar activities are recommended to be carried out regularly.
