OPTIMALISASI EDUKASI GIZI UNTUK MENGURANGI RISIKO OBESITAS MELALUI MAKAN TEPAT, GERAK TERATUR DAN TIDUR NYAMAN
Abstract
Obesity in adults is influenced by multiple factors, including an unbalanced diet, inadequate physical activity, insufficient sleep, and inappropriate nutritional knowledge and its application in daily life. This community service activity aimed to enhance knowledge related to dietary management and obesity prevention through structured nutrition education. A participatory lecture method was employed, supported by educational booklets and animated videos, with effectiveness evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments. The activity was conducted in December 2025 in Wiyono Village and involved 20 adults at risk of obecity. The results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations demonstrated an increase in participant’knowledge following the nutrition education intervention. These findings indicate that nutrition educations delivered through lectures, booklets, and animated videos is effective in improving knowledge related to obecity. Overall, this activity contributed to increasing awareness and understanding among adults in Wiyono Village regarding the importance of obecity management as a strategy for prevention and control.
