Depo-Provera injection is a way to prevent pregnancy by administering a hormonal injection. The failure of the Depo-Provera contraception method is caused by the acceptor's delay in receiving a re-injection. The accuracy of mothers in receiving the Depo-Provera injection is influenced by the mother's knowledge of the Depo-Provera injection and supported by a good memory. Compliance in receiving the re-injection impacts the effectiveness of the Depo-Provera contraception used by the acceptor. One of the failures of the contraception method in the acceptor is non-compliance or delay in receiving the injection. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of contraceptive injection, compliance with the re-injection schedules, and the correlation between the level of knowledge of contraceptive injection and the re-injection schedules compliance. The type of research was a cross-sectional study with accidental sampling. The estimated sample size was 50 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The research was conducted by giving questionnaires to acceptors who made repeat visits to the Tanah Abang Sub-District Health Center from November 2019-January 2020. The analytical test used in this study was chi-square to determine the correlation between the level of knowledge of injecting contraception as the independent variable and compliance with the re-injection schedules as the dependent variable. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the chi-square test formula with a significance level of the p-value of 0.05 and one degree of freedom. The chi-square calculation of p-value 0.05 is obtained, while the chi-square table is 0.007. Then, Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. It means there is a correlation between the level of knowledge of contraceptive injection and re-injection schedules compliance.
2023-05-12T04:13:44+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal of Maternity And Midwifery Sciencehttps://journal.aisyahuniversity.ac.id/index.php/IJMMS/article/view/caricaTHE EFFECT OF GIVING PAPAYA LEAF EXTRACT (Carica Papaya L) ON INCREASING BREAST MILK PRODUCTION IN BREASTFEEDING MOTHERS AT WORKING AREA OF BERNUNG PUSKESMAS, GEDONGTATAAN DISTRICT YEAR 20222023-05-13T07:37:45+00:00Beniqna Maharani Besmayabeniqna.aharani.besmaya@aisyahuniversity.ac.idAnggita Permatasarianggita.permata@aisyahuniversity.ac.idNopi Anggista Putri nopi.anggista.putri@aisyahuniversity.ac.idYuni Sulistiawati yuni.sulistiawati@aisyahuniversity.ac.idTaufiktaufik@aisyahuniversity.ac.id
The coverage of babies who are exclusively breastfed in January-June 2022 in Kebagusan Village has only reached 72.8% with a target achievement of 80%, the target of exclusive breastfeeding has not been achieved, one of which is due to insufficient milk production. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 107,673 people (64.25%), consisting of 59,671 people (54.89%) experiencing primary dysmenorrhea and 9,496 people (9.36%) experiencing secondary dysmenorrhea. The impact of dysmenorrhea is pain that causes physical discomfort for a woman which can interfere with their activities. A warm compress is one method to reduce dysmenorrhea by using a bottle at a temperature of 40-46oC. This type of research was quantitative and it used retrospective cohort approach. The population of all Covid-19 patients who were treated at the regional hospital of Sukadana, East Lampung Regency in 2020-2021, while the samples taken were 170 people. Collecting data used secondary data, namely medical record data for Covid-19 patients in 2020-2021, measuring instruments in the form of a check list, measuring methods by observation and statistical tests used the chi square test in a retrospective cohort design. The results showed that there was a correlation between gender (p: 0.020), comorbid heart disease (p: 0.016) and comorbid diabetes mellitus (p: 0.000) in Covid-19 patients with the risk of death in regional hospital of Sukadana 2021. It is also known that the male gender, diagnosed with heart and diabetes mellitus is a risk factor for death in covid-19 patients at regional hospital of Sukadana 2021.
