Dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain commonly experienced by female adolescents and can interfere with daily activities. One non-pharmacological management to reduce dysmenorrhea pain is acupressure therapy. This research objective is to determine the effect of acupressure on dysmenorrhea pain among female adolescents at MTsN 1 Pringsewu Lokal Pamenang. This research is a quantitative study using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Pain levels were measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) before and after the intervention, and the data were analyzed using the paired t-test. The results showed that the average pain score before the intervention was 5.6, which decreased to 3.65 after the intervention, with a mean difference of 1.95. The statistical test showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant effect of acupressure in reducing dysmenorrhea pain. It can be concluded that acupressure therapy is effective in reducing menstrual pain intensity and can be used as a safe and easy non-pharmacological alternative. The results of this research are expected to provide an overview and additional information for adolescents in managing dysmenorrhea using non-pharmacological techniques.
