Based on data from the Global Cancer Observatory (GLOBOCAN) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in 2018, it is estimated that there were 570,000 new cases of cervical cancer, with 311,000 deaths. Cancer epidemiology studies remain an interesting challenge for researchers, one of which is IVA and HPV DNA testing, because it is an important strategy for early detection of cervical cancer. This study aims to determine the factors associated with IVA and HPV DNA testing in women of childbearing age in Sinar Palembang Village. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of women of childbearing age in Sinar Palembang Village, with a purposive sampling technique used to select 77 respondents. Primary data were analysed using the Chi-square test. The results showed a relationship between knowledge (p-value < 0.001), attitude (p-value < 0.001), and the role of health workers (p-value = 0.002), and IVA and HPV DNA testing. This study is expected to provide a realistic picture of IVA and HPV DNA testing in the community, raise awareness of the importance of early detection of cervical cancer, and serve as a reference for health workers in increasing screening coverage.
