Non- pharmacological approaches such as abdominal stretching exercises and deep breathing relaxation techniques are considered effective in reducing menstrual pain intensity. To determine the effect of abdominal stretching exercises and deep breathing relaxation techniques on reducing dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls.

Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach. The sample consisted of 26 adolescent girls, randomly divided into an intervention group (n=13) and a control group (n=13). The intervention group received abdominal stretching exercises and deep breathing relaxation techniques during of menstruation, while the control group was instructed to drink approximately 2000 ml of water per day. Pain intensity was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) before and after the intervention.

The Wilcoxon test showed a significant reduction in pain intensity in the intervention group (mean pretest score 6.15 to 3.77), while the control group experienced a smaller decrease (from 3.23 to 2.23). The Mann-Whitney test revealed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the two groups. The average gain score in the intervention group was higher than that of the control group. Abdominal stretching exercises combined with deep breathing relaxation techniques are more effective than water consumption alone in reducing dysmenorrhea. This intervention can be recommended as a safe and practical non- pharmacological alternative for managing menstrual pain in adolescent girls.

Keywords: Abdominal Stretching Exercise, Deep Breathing Relaxation, Dysmenorrhea, Menstrual Pain, Adolescent Girls.
Sri Rahayu Riona Sanjaya Komalasari Komalasari Devi Pramita Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Maternitas Aisyah (JAMAN AISYAH) 2026-05-31 2026-05-31 7 2 106 116 PENGARUH KOMPRES LIDAH BUAYA TERHADAP PENURUNAN SUHU TUBUH BAYI DEMAM USIA 2-4 BULAN PASCA IMUNISASI DPT-HB-HIB https://journal.aisyahuniversity.ac.id/index.php/Jaman/article/view/2254
Fever commonly occurs in infants following the administration of the DPT-HB-HIB immunization. This research objective to determine the factors related to this matter.

The design used in this study was a cross-sectional method. The population in this study was all infants aged 0–12 months registered at the Kalianda Public Health Center totaling 130 infants, with a sample of 57 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05).

The study result obtained a p-value <0.05, namely Exclusive Breastfeeding (p = 0.024), environmental cleanliness (p = 0.016), mother's hand washing habits (p = 0.010), use of clean water (p = 0.026). This demonstrates a strong correlation between the use of clean water, environmental cleanliness, and exclusive breastfeeding. One important factor in reducing diarrhea is mothers' handwashing practices. In order to prevent diarrheal illness, clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) are strongly advised.

Keywords: Diarrhea, Babies, Exclusive Breastfeeding, Environmental Cleanliness, Hand Washing, Clean Water.
Elsy Juni Andri Kariny Fitriana Fitriana Iis Tri Utami Sugiyanti Sugiyanti Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Maternitas Aisyah (JAMAN AISYAH) 2026-05-31 2026-05-31 7 2 207 211 PENGARUH EDUKASI TENTANG PENATALAKSANAAN DISMENORE TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI DI SMP MUHAMMADIYAH GUNUNG PELINDUNG KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR https://journal.aisyahuniversity.ac.id/index.php/Jaman/article/view/2250
Dysmenorrhea is the most common gynecological problem in women, especially adolescents. As many as 72.89% of adolescents experience dysmenorrhea. Adolescents' lack of knowledge about dysmenorrhea results in inadequate access to accurate sources of information. Many adolescents are unaware of the symptoms of primary dysmenorrhea, its classification, the types of non-pharmacological treatments available, and the potential for regular exercise and herbal consumption. Furthermore, in Lampung, 58.1% of pregnant women attend prenatal classes. Prenatal classes in Sukoharjo are <40%. Prenatal classes are designed to improve maternal health, but many women attend fewer than two classes during their pregnancy due to lack of support and busy household chores. This is due to a lack of information and the long distance to the prenatal classes. The purpose of this study was to determine factors associated with inactivity among pregnant women attending prenatal classes in Pekon Sukoharjo I, Pringsewu Regency

This quantitative study used a cross-sectional analytical survey method. The population was 65 pregnant women, and the sample size was 35 pregnant women in their second and third trimesters in Pekon Sukoharjo I, Pringsewu Regency. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The measurement tool used was a questionnaire, and the data analysis used was a gamma test.

The results of the study showed a relationship between knowledge (p-value 0.001), husband's support (p-value 0.000), and home distance (p-value 0.014) and the inactivity of pregnant women in pregnancy classes. Coordination is needed to improve the participation of pregnancy classes, focusing on active participation through interactive educational methods such as games and videos, and involving midwives and community health centers in motivating mothers to have regular check-ups.

Keywords : Mother Class, Pregnant Women, Activity

References : 53 (2019-2025)

Yuyun Ekorini Maulia Isnaini Nilawati Nilawati Vivi Iriyani Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Maternitas Aisyah (JAMAN AISYAH) 2026-05-31 2026-05-31 7 2 221 227 PERBEDAAN INTENSITAS MUAL MUNTAH SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH AKUPRESUR TITIK P6 PADA IBU HAMIL DENGAN HIPEREMESIS GRAVIDARUM https://journal.aisyahuniversity.ac.id/index.php/Jaman/article/view/2291
Yuniastini Yuniastini Deti Nurdianah Eka Tri Wulandari Iis Tri Utami Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Maternitas Aisyah (JAMAN AISYAH) 2026-05-31 2026-05-31 7 2 228 236
